Our Fast rope provides a rapid, safe method for inserting and evacuating special operation personnel. 100% Polyester, abrasion resistant fibers reduce rope kinking and offer a fast and fully controlled descent, and a safe, sure ascent. All Fast Ropes are made in accordance with MIL SPEC MIL-F-44422: fiber rope assembly, insertion/extraction number.

This model is installed with Fast Rope Insertion Extraction System (FRIES) loops. FRIES loops afford a unique method to extract multiple personnel efficiently and safely from normally inaccessible or difficult situations. 1-3/4 inch (44mm) diameter FRIES loops are spliced into lower ends of rope for attachment of personnel. Also used in rescue deployments, it enables the rescuer to descend and extract a person or persons quickly. This extraction assembly can also be used as an infiltration system with a built-in warning system. The white extraction loops alert the user that the rope end is near. The white color of the extraction component also aids in the visual perception of the lower end of the system contacting the ground. This Fast Rope model is installed with a soft eye splice braided loop at hook-up end with 35,000 lbf of Tensile Strength. A steel ring is also installed in the soft eye splice to accommodate attachment to davits that are found on certain helicopters. The eye splice is the strongest and safest method of terminating this line. It develops approximately 90% of the break strength of the rope versus other fittings that only develop 25%.
